Still alive!

Just like I said on my twitter a couple of minutes ago - I'm still alive. Lately I have been enjoying my holidays. Going to bed at absurdly late times and going out of bed at even more absurd times (like 3 pm). After my grandfather's birthday dinner last Sunday and the graduation ceremony the Friday before that, I haven't had anything scheduled until my departure at July 23th, when I'll be going to Texas. Yeeeha! Howdy how Chris!

The graduation ceremony itself was quite dull. After a rather dull movie clip (I hoped to God I wasn't featured in it, and luckily I wasn't) there were about a hundred students that one after another went on the podium to get their diploma. One fancy suit after another walked up the stairs. I didn't feel like doing any effort the final day I'll be seeing secondary school pupils, so I got up the podium in my standard red T-shirt and jeans that were half nibbled. Fancy aye mate?
The best thing about the ceremony was what happened afterwards - I got to speak with a lot of my teachers and got to tell them the honest truth about everything I hated, liked and am going to miss about their classes. I also spoke to meneer Kool (my chemistry teacher) who was all proud of me scoring an 8,4 for my retake (which he believed was an 8,7 - in the end it turned out to be a mistake). I had a great conversation with all of them, and I am going to miss some of them when I'm gone. BUT: not all hope has been lost. After my PABO education I can continue to educate myself into becoming a proper secondary school teacher. I will deffi be staging at my old school then, so that my teachers will become my colleagues then!

The last couples of days have been ... draggish. I've been going on TPT a lot and played a couple of hours on my Xbox 360. Speaking of which: I made a second account for XBL Gold and got my hands on a couple of thousand Microsoft Points to spend on Premium DLC like the Burnout Paradise Island and Bungie Pro. Brilliance.

Looking forward to Texas, the new year and all the time I'll be spending on my Xbox 360.

Cheers from,
Leave out the first part though.
